About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an engaging and influential Promotions and Local Marketing Manager!

The Promotions and Local Marketing Manager is responsible for two key areas of business: the creation and delivery of the Group’s promotional marketing, driving footfall, basket spend, and wholesale spend through shopper leaflets, POS (Point of Sale), Connect magazine, seasonal pre-sell brochures and ongoing local marketing support for our retailer estate.

You will own the Group’s promotional marketing material and assist with the design and delivery of the strategy for the creation of promotional and local marketing, short and long term.

You will ensure all promotional marketing collateral is delivered on time, to a consistent high accurate standard within set budgets, manage the production of ongoing B2B material, to generate wholesale retailers sales consistently and market the promotional and non-promotional range of products available to our retailers and other stakeholders.

This role involves considerable amounts of stakeholder engagement and influencing, working with various internal teams and agencies to deliver the marketing material. In addition, you will play a key role being the go-to marketing contact for our retail teams, and though them to our retailers. Finally, through managing and developing the Promotional Marketing team of 3, you will be ensuring suitable succession planning is in place for key roles.

About You

Experience of working in a fast-paced, delivery focussed environment is essential alongside high levels of energy and passion for the role, business and retail food sector.

You will need excellent Presentation skills, proven success of campaign delivery in a complex multi-brand/multi-facia environment and experience of handling multi-million-pound budgets including strict budget and purchase management.

Using your exceptional excellent organisational skills, you will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising workload in a reactive pressurised environment and able to make decisions clearly with a strong sense of conviction.
