About The Role

Are you a potential deputy store manager with the drive and capability to be a store manager within the next two years? Can you demonstrate excellent leadership in a customer driven environment? Are you tenacious in your pursuit of excellence with a hunger to develop and always be better? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Having recently entered into an exciting partnership with the Co-op, we are expanding and now have several progressive deputy manager positions available. As a deputy manager you will assume a key leadership position, being responsible for the store, the team, and the customer experience much of the time. We will also support your development, so you are ready for a store manager position within the next two years.

Working back to back with the store manager you will deliver sales, process, legal compliance, cost controls and operational excellence alongside ensuring our customers have the best possible shopping experience and supporting drive our community agenda helping us inspire customers to shop locally. You can expect to enjoy the benefits of being part of a well-established multi-site company, but also have great influence be creative, seeing your ideas on how to improve things and expand the business from start to finish.

To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter with a natural resilience that sees you drive your ideas through to fruition.  You will have the potential to lead a retail store within the next two years and the business acumen to eventually manage your own inventory and P&L.
