About The Role

  • Project manage the pipeline of all store design projects across Bestway Retail.
  • Work closely with Store Design, Store Development, Business Support, Finance, Symbol, CoCo and Franchise Field Teams to successfully manage and land all store design projects by keeping all the different stakeholders on track and on plan.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Retail Design Group.
  • Identify future format development opportunities.
  • Provide Store Design KPI reports to the wider Retail Leadership Team.
  • Manage any existing supplier relationships with a view to identifying new supplier opportunities and negotiating terms.
  • Manage and track Store Design return on investment.

Store Design Pipeline

  • Manage and coordinate all store design and development activity across all fascias, including Symbol, Franchise, Company Owned Company Operated stores
  • Manage timings and plan the workload to ensure the work happens as efficiently as possible
  • Work with Store Development providing them with project plans for all activity and working with the Store Development team to ensure all projects land right, first time
  • Work with Business Support with the onboarding of new accounts, prioritising where required to ensure maximum return on investment

Retail Design Group (RDG)

  • Plan and coordinate all RDG meetings
  • Facilitate RDG meetings providing pre-reads in advance and minutes post meeting
  • Ensure all the relevant information is available for the RDG to enable the group to make informed decisions on the day

Future Formats

  • Provide the Store Design team with market information of new innovation
  • Horizon scan to identify up and coming future format innovation
  • Support the Store Design team with the development of future formats


  • Develop and design reporting suite on key KPIs for Store Design and Store Development
  • Manage the cadence of reporting
  • Monthly communication to Bestway Retail on successful projects
  • Manage both the pipeline of work and the reporting on it
  • Manage and track Store Design return on investment
  • Provide analysis and identify better return on investment opportunities

Supplier Relationships

  • Manage any existing supplier relationships and benchmark in the market on a regular basis to ensure we’re getting bets in class and value
  • Identify any new suppliers in the market and engage them
  • Negotiate terms to maximise the commercial opportunity 
  • Manage POs and work with Finance on this process


About You

We're looking for a problem solver who has the following skills and experience to keep us on track

  • Project Management skills – Gannt chart planning or other PM skills
  • Able to chair, facilitate and run effective meetings with agendas, pre reads and minutes
  • Able to work independently and take the initiative when required
  • Able to analyse data to identify opportunities and solve problems
  • Able to produce good quality communications for a wide audience
  • Able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders at the same time
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills in all Microsoft Applications
