About The Role

£60,000 - £65,000 base with bonus, pension scheme and PMI, permanent role, London based!
 

Due to an exciting acquisition with Costcutter and Bestway, we are recruiting for a Programme Manager! This role will be a key cross functional position within the organisation that has as its primary mission the requirement to develop, maintain, co-ordinate, monitor, report and manage the change process across the business!

You will work closely with the Executive team to develop short- and long-term strategic goals in accordance with the company vision and business plans and will lead the development of annual operating plans with the Exec and work with them to define strategic objectives and initiatives and will support the preparation for business justification(s)/business cases.

You will programme manage multi-year, capital invested and/or cross functional programmes that require strong governance to ensure success and work with the Senior Leadership Team to define and execute the achievable programme of work required to implement the strategy across all business areas.

It is essential to be able to manage a demanding implementation schedule and will need to partner with both internal and external resource and service providers; a vital part of the role will be the identification and successful management of interdependencies in support of specific business outcomes.

Finally, this role will be responsible for managing resource conflicts, planning issues, project issues and change issues. The role holder will also be required to give update briefings at Executive/ Board meetings.

The successful candidate will have proven ability of the below:

  • Strategic Planning and Delivery
  • Change and Programme Management
  • Process Improvement and Quality Management
  • Risk and issue Management
  • Management of business case delivery through to ensuring the business has achieved the agreed return on investment
  • Post project review and analysis of what worked and what could be improved, taking improvements through to future initiatives
  • Develop effective communication plans to ensure change is an integral part of the business, the impact is clearly understood and there is support to manage through the project lifecycle
You will have proven experience in the management of sophisticated and highly effective project programmes to enhance business processes and capabilities coupled with effective communication, managing large scale Corporate projects and significant leadership influencing skills. 
 
At least 5 years’ experience is required in managing the delivery of cross functional change across complex business functions and you will need to be flexible on location and able to travel.
