About The Role

This role is to cover our North Region.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for end to end account management of the relationship with our retailers and deliver sales and margin across a defined geographical area. You will have close management of debt, deliver robust store development and implementation of business initiatives and be fully accountable for delivery of all KPIs, communication and engagement of our retailers.

You will typically manage 60 stores with AWS between c£3.5k and £5k and your account management will be delivered through a combination of store visits and through targeted phone support. Accounts will be visited at a minimum of once a quarter with the actual number of visits being determined by the size of opportunity as highlighted within the portfolio.

About You

You will ideally have an excellent commercial understanding of the convenience sector, but the key requirement is demonstrating strong commercial acumen and provide excellent customer service.  This may, therefore have been achieved in other retail sectors or potentially the hospitality sector.  What is important, is that you are driven, enthusiastic and a great problem solver with the ability to build exceptional relationships.
 

You will have the ability to understand a profit and loss account and understand commercial and financial information and spot opportunities for growth and development. Using your attention to detail you will improve retailing standards and ensure the customer and our retailers are at the heart of the decisions we make.

Knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Word and Excel is essential along with the knowledge of EPOS including interrogation of data.
